idenate is a Munich-based interior space and product design consultancy. We focus on pre-engineering for space, product, and process analysis, design development, prototyping, and manufacturing support.
We currently have interior designers and product designers on staff and have an extensive network of experts in the fields of research, materials science, graphic design, prototyping, engineering, manufacturing, and construction.

Appearance and behavior are said to embody a person. We believe that where we spend our days also significantly influences who we are. In self-branding and office branding, understanding the whole, solving challenges, and meticulously designing every detail resonate deeply with people's hearts. Each element maintains exquisite balance, creating harmony and unity throughout the space. Conscious design, considering the overall project and client challenges, along with attention to detail and calculation, enhances the appeal of the space. By combining these elements, spaces express individuality, inspire visitors, and bring appropriate effects such as tranquility and efficiency to users in various scenes.

Graphic design and branding possess the power of symbolism, narrating stories through visual communication. We construct a unique identity, embodying intangible essences through our creations. Colors, shapes, fonts, and imagery express the core of the brand, fostering connections with consumers. Our designs merge sophisticated strategies with sensibilities, enhancing brand personality and radiating allure.

TEAM

Stefan Spoerl

Stefan is a German Industrial Designer with over 13 years of experience. He is passionate about design, ergonomics, and product development. He worked in various different companies with a strong focus on ergonomic office furniture and complex telecommunication hardware. He lived and worked in the United States, Japan, and now in Munich/Germany. In 2011 Stefan founded FourPlus Design, and now he is as a co-founder of idenate.

Tomoko Spoerl

Born in Tokyo, Japan, and a graduate of the Parsons School of Design's Interior Design Department in New York, she launched her career in an interior design and architectural studio, specializing in residential, condominium, and hospitality projects. Following a temporary return to Japan, she contributed her skills to a major general contractor, focusing on the design of public and corporate facilities. Subsequently, a move to Germany led her to an architectural firm, where she contributed to the design of public facilities and exhibition spaces. Complementing her design expertise, studies in coaching enhanced client understanding, empowerment, and leadership. In 2021, with 14 years of rich experience in the interior design field, the establishment of the studio idenate marked the next phase of her professional journey.
